For employers

How we handle your employee data

Setting up a group plan means telling the carrier who’s eligible. That list is sensitive, and how it’s collected matters as much as what’s in it.

We don’t accept census files through this website

There is no upload form on this page, and that’s deliberate. Eligibility data is arranged directly with your advisor over a channel we agree with you first — never as a cold submission from a public web page.

How it actually works

  1. We talk first

Nothing is sent until we’ve spoken and agreed what’s actually needed. In most cases that’s far less data than employers expect.

  2. We send you the template

You’ll get a blank template with exactly the fields required for your plan and carrier — no more. Filling in extra columns doesn’t help anyone and increases what’s at risk.

  3. You return it over a secure channel

We’ll agree the route with you directly. Ordinary email attachments are not an acceptable channel for a census, and we won’t ask you to use one.

  4. We use it, then it goes

The file is used to set up and maintain your plan, shared only with the carrier or administrator that needs it, and retained no longer than required.

What we ask for — and what we don’t

A census generally needs enough to identify each eligible person and price their coverage: name, date of birth, ZIP code, who they’re covering, and their enrollment status.

We do not ask for medical histories, diagnoses, claims data or anything describing an employee’s health. If a carrier requires medical underwriting, that goes directly between the employee and the carrier — it doesn’t come through us, and it never comes through this website.
